Really loved this. Also, who doesn't enjoy a good origin story? Would be thrilled to hear more about your earlier years and how it brought you to where you are today.

This calls to mind Christopher Smart's Jubilate Agno, a sprawling devotional poem on which I would love to read your commentary: specifically, the lines that Benjamin Britten makes into a refrain in his musical setting:

"Hallelujah from the heart of God, and from the hand of the artist inimitable, and from the echo of the heavenly harp in sweetness magnifical and mighty."

A lovely apologia. This piece provides the background I needed to work out for myself what it is that I admire so much in all the other pieces, from multi-layered poetic reflections to threadapaloozas.
